More Than
Symptom Management
Orthopedic physical therapy addresses conditions affecting your muscles, bones, joints, and connective tissue. But effective orthopedic care goes beyond treating the area that hurts. At One Up Physical Therapy, we evaluate how your entire body moves to identify the underlying cause of your pain and build a treatment plan that supports long-term recovery.
With strong orthopedic experience and advanced clinical training, One Up Physical Therapy combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, dry needling, and patient education into a personalized program built around your needs, goals, and progress.

How We Approach Orthopedic Care
Method 01 · The foundation
Hands-on
Manual Therapy.
Our licensed doctoral-level clinicians use targeted hands-on techniques to help reduce pain, restore joint mobility, and address soft tissue restrictions that may be contributing to your condition. Manual therapy is applied with precision, not as a generic add-on, but as a purposeful part of your overall treatment plan.
Method 02
Movement Analysis.
Many orthopedic problems are driven by the way you move, not just where you hurt. A thorough movement screen identifies patterns that are placing excess stress on the affected area so the problem gets addressed at its root, not just where it shows up.
Method 04
Dry Needling + E-Stim.
For patients with trigger points, chronic tension, or muscle guarding, dry needling with electrical stimulation can accelerate pain relief and restore normal muscle activation particularly when combined with manual therapy and exercise.
Method 03
Individualized Exercise.
No generic printouts. Your exercise plan is designed for your specific condition, your current fitness level, and your goals. Each session progressively builds your capacity so you can manage your health independently long after treatment ends.
Method 05
Patient Education.
Understanding what is happening in your body is part of healing. Dr. Aimi walks you through your condition, your treatment rationale, and what you can do between sessions to keep progress moving forward. You are a partner in your own recovery.
